Rental Agreement

The use of Turning Tides Oceanfront Escape buildings and property is limited to registered guests. This does not include additional visitors or guests, as the registered individuals are the guests. This means no "Day Trippers" or "Day Visitors".

Parking is for registered guests only. 3 cars per oceanfront cottage, 1 for the studio. No exceptions. All other cars will be towed at the owner's expense. All autos MUST leave at check out time.

The cottages and Studio will be clean when you arrive, please leave them as clean as you found them. Extra time spent cleaning a cottage that is left dirty, as judged by management, will be billed to the renter. A $350.00 cleaning fee will be put on a credit card hold and charged if the rental is not left clean. Clean includes removing all trash, cleaning dishes, pots and pans, and putting all furniture back where it was when you arrived. Please clean the stove after you use it, and empty the fridge at check out.

Please cooperate in keeping the premises quiet after 10:00 pm.

Furniture from inside the cottage and on the porches is not to be used in the sand or on the beach.

No cottage towels, blankets, pillows or bedspreads may be taken to the beach.

The washing machines in the cottages require the use of He detergent.

Making holes, punctures, or carvings in the walls, ceilings, or floors is prohibited.

There is no burning of candles, incense, sparklers, or use of BBQs in the cottages.

This is a NON-SMOKING cottage. Do not throw cigarette butts in the sand. Use ash trays provided.

Please turn off all electrical appliances including heat, fans, coffeepots, irons and lights whenever you leave the cottage.

All guests much check out by 10:00 am FIRM. Cottages not vacated by this time will be charged an additional day.

Please leave all keys on the kitchen table when you check out, and leave the door unlocked. Keys not returned are charged $25.00.

We are not responsible for any valuables left in the cottage.

Please do not move beds in the cottages, moving beds damages floors.

I HAVE READ AND AGREE WITH THE RENTAL & USE AGREEMENT ABOVE. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE RESERVATION MAY BE CANCELLED AT THE MANAGEMENT'S DISCRESSION, IMMEDIATELY, WITHOUT REFUND IF THE AGREEMENT IS BREECHED. BY RENTING THE COTTAGE OR STUDIO, I AGREE TO THE TERMS ABOVE, AND WILL BE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CHARGES INCURRED PER THIS AGREEMENT. I HAVE PROVIDED MY CREDIT CARD AS A GUARANTEE.
